Everyday, photography helps getting to know ourselves better. One of the things it taught us, for instance, is that our cities are sad and our life empty with no obscenities surrounding us. We, as people, live and thrive on images and imagination. This is the basic input which brought Out Of Tune, now in its third edition, to life.This collective exhibition is but an attempt to extend the idea of a “different” vision to everyone. That’s because we’re aware that behind any shot there’s no beginning or end, but only an undiluted passion for life in all of its potential displays. Our natural inclination towards curiosity gives us the right to shoot and click anything: that’s why photography is free from the moral and social obligations restricting all other media languages

The one and only player in Out Of Tune is, and always will be, the shot itself.

La fotografia ci aiuta ogni giorno a comprendere meglio noi stessi: ci ha insegnato, ad esempio, che, senza oscenità, le nostre città sono luoghi tristi e la vita è spesso desolante. Ma anche che noi, come persone, viviamo costantemente di immagini e immaginario. Questo è il motivo essenziale che anima Out Of Tune, giunto ormai alla sua terza edizione. Questa mostra collettiva di fotografia, non è altro che il tentativo di estendere a tutti l’idea di uno sguardo “altro”. Dato che siamo consapevoli che in ogni scatto, non vi è fine né inizio, ma solo la passione per la vita in tutte le sue manifestazioni possibili. Quindi se oggi, la fotografia è libera dagli obblighi sociali e morali che limitano invece tutti gli altri linguaggi, è semplicemente perché la nostra naturale propensione alla curiosità ci dà, a priori, il diritto di immortalare tutto.

In “Out Of Tune” invece, il vero e unico protagonista è e rimane lo scatto.
